So I was wondering, does anyone but myself that plays spread feel the need to rest their thumb on the bottom part of their keyboard / spacebar? ^_^

Re: Just A Thought
Not really. When I'm playing, The only fingers that ever touch anything are my index/middle fingers of both hands. All my other fingers are in the air so that I have full range to move my playing fingers as much as needed.

Re: Just A Thought
I know what you're talking about - I have an urge to put my thumbs somewhere other than dangling in the air rofl

Re: Just A Thought
Not really. Since I use a laptop, the only issue I come across is that my lower palm touches the mouse pad. Other than that, the only fingers touching the keyboard are my index and middle on both hands.Comment

Re: Just A Thought
I play with my thumb and palms on the keyboard during really fast streams or complicated jumpstreams (pants, ehhs) cause I find I'm faster that way.
I try to keep everything in the air as much as possible though, like Cold Kitten mentioned.Comment

Re: Just A Thought
I tend to keep my thumbs and pinkies raised on higher difficulty songs, but I don't like it when it happens. If I notice it, it becomes a temporary distraction until an incredibly dense area of the song takes my attention back.Comment

Re: Just A Thought
When I want speed, I play with hands raised, but when I want accuracy my palms and thumbs rest on the keyboard in places where they WILL NOT mess up my gameplay.

Re: Just A Thought
Same. It helps me with more difficult songs. When I become conscious of my finger placements and start moving around during gameplay is when I get out of rhythm.IF I CAN CLIMB A TREE, I CAN CLIMB MT EVEREST. IF I CAN DRIVE A CAR, I CAN PILOT A SPACE SHUTTLE. IF I CAN PEE, I CAN BE THE PRESIDENT. IF I CAN POO, I CAN RULE THE WORLD!Comment
