    Question about making stepfiles

Alright. Say you have this piece of music. Its composed by one person, arranged by another and mixed by you. Whom must you get permission from to use it? Do you need permission if you are the one mixing it? Does permission have to come from the original composer of the piece or the person who arranged the song?

You only need permission if it's to go on FFR itself.

I'm pretty sure if you remixed it yourself, you only need your own permission to put it up.

I think the copyright for classical music belongs to the muscian(s)/conductor of the specific recording you're using. The composer and arranger only have rights to the sheet music, I believe.

If it's to go on FFR, see if you can get permission from the performing orchestra/band/soloist etc... if it's not your own performance.
