you -could- upload and download simfiles to it that could be run using Stepmania (if you don't know what that is look it up)
however the site only came up under a month ago and the simfile database hasn't been 're-attached'. it's like 600GB so it'll take a while

I think it's not so much the size rather than databases are probably the most difficult and annoying part about any website. Either way it'll be up when it's up.

Good. Any simfile that is potentially worth its salt would be posted through other methods (forums, packs, youtube, etc), and I'm tired of seeing dozens of Naruto Shippuden OP simfiles with rainbow arrow syndrome.

There are a few reasons why the simfile database is being removed:
1. A ton, and I mean a ton of copyright infringement.
2. Songs that violate the terms of use.
3. It's impossible for mods to moderate every song that goes into it.
4. And lastly the majority of them weren't stepped right.
