    New guy, come say hi!

Hey, I made an account on FFR a while ago, and never really got into the game. Recently I joined the DDR club at my school, and it seems like everyone suggests this game for getting better at reading the notes. I'm also super-excited about the huge database of tracks available, because I really can't stand the standard DDR music! (It all sounds the same to me).
So, anything I should know about the website?

    Thanks

this game can help with your timing slightly, but you'll have to develop different muscle memory for each game.

      and welcome

The FFR helps a lot. Stepmania does as well if you can get a pad and hook it up to you PC. This site is great and has some great people like luc. Congrats on having a DDR Club, my school only has anime club in which we sometimes play DDR.

thanks guys for all of the encouragement. I'm starting to improve in FFR and I'm wondering, how do I make my own game files like I see uploaded to the simfile database? Thanks all

1.make a folder in the songs folder named after the song I want
              2.then I put a backround or video and a mp3 in there.
3.Then boot up SM. and go to edit songs.
              4. Chose options
              5. Then start working on your song.

that is the basic way to do it. without getting detailed.

Did the people in the club actually recommend FFR?
