The short answer is, you don't.
The long answer is, if we even decide whether or not to bring in a new moderator, we look for credentials such as time active, how much you annoy the current moderators, how often you break the rules, etc.
It's safe to say if you've ever been on the bad side of the mods, you probably won't get the position.
But I don't think they're taking any new mods in any time soon, so it doesn't matter.
