    Forum to put stepping contest in?

    Ive been thinking about holding a contest with 3 of my fav songs to be stepped for SM ( but FFR compatible? ) with prizes to the top three winners being judged by myself and 2 people of my choosing.

    What forum would I put a contest like this in, and does anyone have any suggestions on rules and restrictions as this would be my first event.

          I didn't expect such a speedy response, tyvm for your time.

          I might wait a few days and see if I get any suggestions on rules etc, as I would like to make sure I do this right. Especially since the 3 songs I have in mind are actually GOOD to be stepped ( IMO anyway ), and 2 of the 3 MAY be eligible to be released on FFR ( not 100% sure on this though ).

              Hmm, I think if you were to hold a contest, open it to the public, and let people vote brotha.

                  I toyed with this awile, but open public opinion is, well, always, shall we say, not the most INFORMED opinion? :P

                  Im still toying with it, but I thought me, and 2 other WELL KNOWNS who offered to be judges ( or I pick 2 people in my life OUTSIDE FFR but have watched me play on occasion pick what they feel was the best to watch me play ) would be a better contest then just " vote here for your favorite! ".

                  *EDIT* one of them may even become a piece that I did myself, and stepped myself, but when first showing some old school friends of mine the game, they liked one I stepped from an outside artist ( DJ Mystik ) more then the one I had stepped for my own song :P LOL Oh well, thats why I would have a contest :P [ they knew it was my song btw, they just liked the STEPS I put to the DJ MYSTIK song more then the steps to my own song. Talk about a kick in the balls heh :/ ]

                          Well all of them had seen GH and RB already, even played abit. but FFR is something no one but me in my group plays. While its true most want me to play FOTBB and other crap like that, they still had presence of mind to watch as I showed them and tell me what, between two similar difficulty step files, they thought was the better one. I trust the judgment of my RL friends, or they wouldn't be my friends, that's why I had the thought to do it that way in the first place.

                              FFR is a copy of SM which is a copy of DDR, does it real matter? FOTBB isn't hard. Also, friend judgment is always nicer than actual judgment, otherwise you wouldn't take criticism so well and not call them your friends.

                                  FOTBB is hard for me, but thats another topic of debate :P

                                  As for the rest, are you saying I SHOULD or SHOULD NOT use my friends judgement when and if using them as judges? If so, the using friends was a last resort btw, I would rather have 2 well known established FFR individuals help ME judge, if at all possible.
