    Alright, newbie question..

I have a friend who is able to play the game with both the WSAD and arrows, and he showed me how...I did that at home, but it still won't work...why?

    Any answer would help!
To get the symbol in my name, you must be able to do a ALT+Num. command.

    ALT+1949 = Ą

My guess was that he keymapped those sets of keys on SM and showed that to you.

I might be wrong, but that's my best guess.

If you mean switching between the two layouts, you can go to FFR the Game and click the red Settings tab. There, you can change your key layout options.

If you are asking how to use both sets of keys simultaneously, then be warned: such a layout is considered cheating and will earn you a blacklisting if you're caught.

Anything more than 4 keys is a bannable offense.

But..I think he means..if why did it work at one place when they were set at another. My only guess is, he must have had someone set those keys on the other comp and didn't know or forgot about it.

you could probably find this out anyway, so; there are programs that 'macro' one key to register as another when you hit it.

Well, it's sort of the same thing until FFR adds more than four arrows. So as of now, more than 4 keys is a bannable offense. Correct me later when I become wrong and I'll send you free credz~

Also, wrong place to ask anyways.

Actually neither of those assertions is fully correct. The most accurate statement would be "Anything other than 4 keys mapped individually onto 4 seperate inputs" is considered cheating.

It can go the other way too, in addition to making multiple keys map onto one input, you could also make one key map onto multiple inputs, which would be useful for trying to do songs like Vrofl.

lol, ok. That takes care of that. Point is, don't cheat. (^_^)

I'm just going to point out now that I found out the answer. He actually had done W as up, A as left, right arrow as right, and down arrow as down.
