AAA and Drunkenness

I play for fun, not for rank (sorta). I can FC most songs difficulty 1 through 4, and can sorta see how I might at some point FC songs difficulty 5 and 6. If I switch my keys from the 3 finger to a spread, I know I'll get better, and can probably FC 7's and maybe even 8's.

But I can't AAA a damn thing. Not even Mario.

I've been working on a Diff 2 song for an hour, set it to fail with the first good, and STILL can't AAA the thing.

Does being drunk help or hurt?

why would it help? getting drunk reduces co-ordination skills

edit: three things that can help
raise your speedmod as high as you can read it
try turning the sound off and playing
and
absolutely don't have autofail on. the psychological effects reap havoc on your cool which you badly need to AAA things

Novacak, i think you only need to practice (a lot ~~) in order to be able to aaa things. Spending 5 hours on a lvl 1 song is helpless, really, just try to FC harder and harder songs then your PA will improve by itself.

Getting drunk can help you, but all depend on how drunk you are. I guess that 2 or 3 glasses can help having less pressure when you re near from an AAA, but its only something related with your selfconfidence imho.

Why not try copious amounts of caffeine instead of alcohol? It's (a bit) more healthy and certainly alot more fun (IMO)

I would put two and two together: Being intoxicated reduces motor skills/reflexes, etc. In other words, unless you are -zeroSKILL-, don't drink and play.

You guys don't know how many times I've played Drunk and came back looking at my scores going wtf? When did I FC that? or When did I AAA that.. Then my friends tell me I did it Drunk.. So yea..
Unless your -zeroSKILL- or 8 Hour Whore.. Being Drunk doesn't help.
I guess because I'm too fast when I'm drunk I slow down and actually do what I'm supposed to... Not what I think I should be doing.

it took me a long time to get my very first AAA, but once you get it, you will get on a roll and get a bunch, beleive me... so keep whoring unitl you get your first!
