Hey Quinn, welcome to FFR and we all hope you enjoy your stay here.

If you want to improve your typing skills, try this site. Make sure you have Java 1.1 before you start. It lets you calculate between WPM and CPM, depending where you're from and what you use. Try them out; I personally enjoy typing out 'The Enchanted Typewriter' at 140 WPM.

Also, FFR will definitely sharpen your skills in reading the arrows. I couldn't play DDR on beginner before I came to FFR. After playing FFR for over a year, I went back to DDR for the second time, after I left off from failing a beginner level on DDR. The first level I tried out was a 'Standard', and since FFR has trained my eye to read the arrows, I managed to conclude with a satisfactory result on my first try. The second song I played was Heavy. It could have been just me, but whatever the result, it did help, and I am sure it will help you and others.

Good luck with ITG and FFR, and have fun around the forums. Make sure to read the FAQ if you have any questions in need of answering. The forum rules link is here for you, and you can browse through other stickies through the FFR forums.

Have fun and enjoy your stay!
