    Hellow!

    Hello everyone, I'm Corndog & obviously new here.. I've played for a little bit so far and thought I had already intro'd myself but hadn't.

    I've played DDR Revolution 2 & Extreme for the past 2-3 years and am not bad but not near the best either. I play more for a hobby than I did in former years. I also think I have more fun now than when I played to try and impress or beat other people..

    So far I've only played about 50 games and am ranked 327k or somewhere around it. I know I'm a nub and will be for a while to come but I'm not looking to overthrow the leaderboards or anything (not that I could). I'm just here for a good time and to hopefully make some new friends. If anyone has any questions just send a pm my way & I'll get back to you (hopfully) promptly.

                  Hi corndog (teehee, *munch*).

                  It's recommended that one shouldn't play for Overall Rank. Overall Rank is an indicator of how much you've played... nothing special. Instead, shoot for a low Average Rank. The Average Rank consists of finding the average for every rank you possess in every song, excluding Tokens/Skill Tokens. To view your ranks, check your level ranks. Average Rank is a better indicator of your skill level than Overall Rank is.

                  Another system of skill level indication, is Tier Points where you have to achieve certain scores in order to recieve a tier point. There's five tier ranks. To be in one, you must achieve a certain amount of tier points. Additional information could be found in this thread.

                  A question frecuently asked is, "how many credits do you need in order to unlock all the secret songs in the Secret genre?" Well, the information can be found in this thread. The thread contains specific information regarding each song level (difficulty, time length, BPM, total notes, top 10 longest songs, top 10 shortest songs, how many credits needed to unlock each secret song, etc...). A wise choice would be to review it.

                  Another question sometimes asked is about Tokens/Skill Tokens. Tokens are minute, golden tokens with the FFR logo on it that are dispersed throughout the site. Some of them are very tricky to find. Do not ask where they're located on this site. Skill Tokens are relatively different, for you must accomplish certain requirements in order to unlock new song levels. The requierments are bolded below the song title. Each song unlocked is found in their respective genres, either Token genre, or Skill Token genre.

                  Another must know fact is about the "Gambling Hall"... Heed my words, for you must never think of gambling. You might start of lucky, but it's not worth it in the long run, for everyone has perished under the greed of credits. Those who have chosen to not gamble since the beginning are envied by many, including me.

                  You could enjoy a one-on-one friendly competition in multiplayer (MP). This thread reviews the ettiquete, rules, and "need to know" facts about MP that everyone must abide by.

                  The forums rules are located here. In short, simple words do the following...
                  1.) Use correct grammar. If English isn't your primary language then, try your best.
                  2.) Don't postwhore. The "Edit" button located at the bottom, right-handed corner was implemented for that reason. Use it.
                  3.) Be nice to everyone.
                  4.) Strive to contribute to a thread with every comment you post.
                  5.) Other stuff...
