    Not used to this forum setup.

    Hello friends; fellow FFR players. community, I was wondering if someone could please tell me how to change my screen name?

    At the moment it says 'specks-vicious', this is much to my disappointment as my usual forum board uses a different system so i don't know how to change this. I have had a bit of a look around the 'Edit' options and have failed to find something that caters for my needs. Help please.

                  sorry, vbulletin doesn't let people change usernames, UNLESS, you PM an admin and ask him to change it for you.
                  i believe SMF allows people to change usernames in their profile

                      Ones where your user name is tied to only the forum. If it's tied to stuff like your scores or whatever you can't. Which is why we can't here. I wish we could.

                          Sorry but like many others said you can not change your screen name but you can make a new one and just transfer your points to that one..(i think.... at least i'm trying to be helpful)

                              This is not something that the site supports outside potentially exceptional cases. While people like to point to the 3 or 4 names in the distant past they can remember being changed, those names tend to belong either to current or former staff, or to have been changed when the userbase was much smaller.

                              With almost 1.6 million accounts, changing usernames on request would pretty well bog down the very very few staff members who have access to make that kind of change.

                              And since the user in question here has played only 6 games of FFR, and has no tokens of any sort, and only this one post on the forum, simply scrapping this account and registering again with the username they actually want to use is the correct course of action.
