How do people stumble their way into a subboard and think that's the appropriate place to post their generic 'I'm knew here' thread when the newbie board is the very first board listed?

Not being patronizing, just curious as to the underlying thought process here.

This forum is for song permissions, not for introduction. Also Patashu, it's "new", not "knew". Sorry, I tend to point out typos often.

Welcome to FFR!

To get started, make sure to read the Forum Rules. This forum also has a 'no bad spelling and grammar' policy around here, so please abide by it.

Before you get into all the exciting bit, it will be good to share your ideas and have fun with other members of the site, which will give you a good reputation. To do this, you need to be accepted into the community. Have a look at this page for more information, although I believe if you have a good common sense, a quick flick-through will be enough.

Above all, have a fun time and build this site by recommending others to come aboard the FFR express. Learn to decorate your profile, make buddies, play multiplayer and break personal records. Like Tater_Tot has mentioned previously, do not reply to suspicious threads or advertising threads, most likely being a bot creating the thread. Just report it with the hazard sign beneath people's avatar.

I think that's all you need to get you started... Ooh, one thing. If you happen to become an active member of the site, but start building questions inside your head, get them answered in this FAQ page. The answers might not be updated onto the thread - yet - but people will be there to answer your question through the many posts submitted by our fine users.

Crash, explore, do whatever. Have fun.

I dislike how someone can make their first post about wanting to have fun in the forums on October 1st and then not come back. They haven't even visited since this post.

Why not wait until you're actually going to look at the forums before making an introductory post.

Anyhoo, I'll welcome you when I believe you're actually coming back.
