There may be a really obvious answer to this: Why say 'nOOb'? Why not just 'newb'? Or even 'newbie'? I mean, I understand that there's this whole leet thing, but why? Doesn't 'nOOb' take more effort than just 'newb'? I mean, it's not like it's a code or anything (or if it is, <sarastically> hats off to ya...).
