Is there anyway to subscribe besides paypal? I'd like a one month subscription, but I can't get it because the only way to pay is paypal. I have no paypal account, and they don't accept my gift card.

that's weird. they should accept your gift card, if it's a VISA card... and has 16 digits, etc etc.
otherwise, we don't accept any other payments for a 1-month subscription. it is too much work to set up. we will do longer subbies via money order (3-mo, 6-mo, or 1-year). you can buy them via the Gift Subbie option in the FFR Store.RIP -
