Welcome to FFR! I recommend following the links that Dooty has supplied for you. Enjoy your stay! Most of the people here are philanthropic, so no need to worry! =)

Some tips I can give you though, is if you plan to become very good at FFR, I recommend playing "Spread". It is the fastest and most effective way to become proficient. This style is as follows:

          Left middle finger: left arrow
          Left index finger: down arrow
Right index finger: 8 (on numpad)
Right middle finger: 6 (on numpad)

There are many variations to this style as you will find in the in-game settings menu which allows different playing styles. One of the most common variations of spread would be:

          Left middle finger: A
          Left index finger: S
          Right index finger: K
          Right middle finger: L

A lot of the proficient players use speed mods as it helps distinguish the notes, making them easier to read. This option can also be found in the in-game settings menu. I, personally use 2x speed mod.

Other then that, practice, practice, and praxis! =)
PM me if you want to rent my custom title. :3

The nose isn't big enough to be ShastaTwist.

Welcome to the forums, generally just check to see if threads you are going to make have already been made. Be pleasant and friendly and others will be friendly back (except in The Garbage Bin) and be sure to check out the rules and stickies as they give general advice on all aspects of the forum.

Other than that just have fun.
