Can I request songs to be put on?

okay, ffr has a massive collection of songs. But what if they don't have a song I want on here? Can I ask them for it and expect them to put it on? If so, I want to know who to talk to.

we need permission from the artist to use the music.... mainstream artists tend to want money in exchange for giving permission. as such, we don't have much music from mainstream artists. we have plenty from amateur artists, who want the exposure we give them.

basically, if you want something in the game by an artist we don't have permission from, you'd have to ask them for permission and get it. if we do have permission from the artist, but haven't used the song... then you'd want to talk with one of our stepfile guys to see if they'd be willing to step it.

then there is a whole long process to get the file into the game.

A: Find out if we have permission.
B1: Step the song.
B2: Find someone to step the song for you.
C: Submit the file, if it's good it will get accepted and put in the game eventually.

I could actually believe the site having permission from Korn in the future, I mean, we have Disturbed permission, which is huuuuuuuge o.o (not sure if we have full permission, but I remember a front page post a few months ago, FFRock has some of their song on it)

in terms of major artists... i can basically guarantee you'll have no success in getting permission from them. just because of the nature of the music industry.
