Computer is too slow

Hi

I've been playing for maybe a month and I can do most standard pretty well (sometimes combos of over 100 and 5 or 6 credits), and pass some tricky levels.

the problem is... I have a hard time getting better because my computer is slow and the arrows lag behind the music, so I usually play with no music.

Sounds like my school computers... there I just usually cope with it but since that's your home computer... well if you're not getting a new one anytime soon just clear up as much space on your computer as you can.

You really should get a new computer that must be like 4 years old at least...
They do not cost much and even cheaper if you build it yourself...

ummmm.... until I get a new computer this summer is there anything at all I can do? clearing my cache helps, but it's still not good enough

defragment your compute, and clear disk space on your hard drive...more ram would help

No. The only thing that will help is basically a new pc, or atleast processor/motherboard. FFRs speed is pretty much dependant on how fast your PC is (MHZ).

You could get stepmania, though. You can run it with very little lag on not so great pc's. It doesn't like XP+a slower pc though.
