how do you make the dwi and sim files into the zip folder to upload?

i have the song

Put it all into one file, then right click the file go to send to and then click compressed zip file.

i did that and i had the dwi and sim files in it but my computer couldn't open the files

ok... so you've made your steps? you have the .dwi file? initially, a .dwi file is something that your computer can't read... it doesn't know the extension .dwi. just open it with NotePad, although in most cases, you wouldn't need to open it outside of StepMania.

To add a .dwi (or .sm) and an .mp3 to a zip file, 1st make sure that you have WinZip installed. Then, open WinZip and add the FOLDER that has the mp3 and dwi in it to the zip. if you just add the files, it won't extract to a folder when extracting.

So make sure your folder name is labeled properly as well.

I dont know.. um I downloaded WinRar.. It makes it easier, then like after you're done stepping the song open up stepmania folder, find your song folder right click and I think it was 'add to archives' then save it and it'll become a zip file.
