    Just a warning I thought others should know...

    It is a pet peeve of mine when someone puts a comment on a simfile of mine and it has nothing to do with stepping quality. If you leave a comment like this:

    OMG I love this song!
    Or this:

    Hey step more *insert artist of the song* cause they're cool
    Or this:

    This file's too hard. I hate it.
    Or god forbid:

    My file is better it's here *insert broken link*
    So please; download the sim first, play the sim, then rank it (again, base it only on the stepping quality, not the song choice) and comment on it. It'll make your comment more meaningful and FFR will be a better place to be.


    As just so you know, don't play resonance for a bad song. If you do, it'll only get more popular.

                          True that ShAiOnEi but at least someone can leave a comment where one can benefit from. I would rather someone leaving a comment on my stepfile saying, " It was pretty good overall, just needs a few modifications. The notes were a tad off-beat, there were a lot of unnecessary jacks through out the song and the ending was understepped, " then, " OMG this sucked. I don't like jacks, take them off! "

                          What I'm trying to say is, it's okay to express your opinions as long as they're not gathered in some idiotic statement that's no help what so ever and that's what Professor Raine meant.

                                  I think it all depends on how you percieve the comment. Wether that person has left any salvageable information that you can use to improve you file on.

                                  And just because someone doesn't like [insert pattern here] doesn't mean that it's not fitting.

                                  It's not that hard to sift through the garbage.

                                      I think the reason that people don't notice the steps is because a) they're not paying enough attention to them because they like the song or some other reason, or b) they're paying too much attention to them (the file's too hard for them, for example). A few times I've found myself fighting for my life and as a result was tempted to give the simfile author a bad rating, but then I step back and ponder how much work it took on their part to get all the notes in and sync it all and whatnot.

                                              Well lets just think about this.. There arent much rules that go along with leaving comments for your simfile. You can basically say whatever you want, its not really a big deal at all.

                                              Try to ignore those idiotic comments left by users.

                                              What would be good is if the user can delete other peoples comments left on his simfile.
                                              (idk if you can already do that though)
