While messing up on burnout ( ) I noticed that when u click the 'try that level again' button you hear the music but the blackround is just black and theres no dropping(well, in my case, for many people, rising) arrows...

We know it happens. On songs that mess up when you use the try again, there is a solution.

It is called the don't-press-the-try-again-on-that-song method.
Self-explanitory enough?
