I was new about a year ago and I can honestly say that the overall FFR community is very helpful, so don't be afraid to ask around for information.

zenni - yep, I play everyday, for at least two hours 8)

sa - well at the moment I'm concentrating on speeding up on very easy - easy, I know it sucks right? But I can tell my fingers are definitely getting faster. Plus being a fast touch typer to start with helps when you're a beginner, if I keep practising I think I'll get betterm but when I look at masters only songs on youtube... I doubt I'll get to that, just wow. How about you?

knuckles - Thanks, I probably will ask about tips on speeding up and where to place the fingers on the keys lol.

mookage - yeah, its nice to know theres a relatively peaceful and supportive community like this one around when it comes to gaming.

Hmm, well, sometimes I don't even combo Easy, but I have had my moments where for some reason I can just play really well. You will like those moments, when you suddenly combo the 4 minute rock song. I tried Zelda today, it is "Tricky" and it slayed me combo-wise (I passed, at least). So, we are about equal, maybe if you ever go into multiplayer, give me a try (I've never done mutliplayer before).

Well, you sound like you have plenty of potential, you just need the practice.

Yeah, I've managed to almost get all perfects on easy level, but I lose my concentration sometimes, due to lack of sleep or my computer randomly slowing down. (it does it alot u_u)

Lol, there is no way I'd be able to pass standard or tricky right now I don't think, but I have only been playing for 3 days, maybe after about 2 weeks I'll be able to try standard-tricky. Yeah, I'll see what I can do, though my computer sucks big time.
