Hi there
, de-lurking myself finally. Don't quite remember when I signed up, not that long ago however. I'm pretty awful at FFR at the moment (IE, I was actually excited/surprised to pass a tricky song. Yar. Pretty awful), but I suppose with practice comes improvement.
It doesn't help that my computer hates FFR. Every so often the game stutters, usually breaking my combos because it stutters on a key and so doesn't register my tap. Not that I wouldn't have broken my own combo due to lack of skill anyway. But that's not the point darnit, I can deal with my own ineptitude, it's the inadequacy of the machine that irks me. Turning down the quality doesn't make it go away; even low quality on the low res version it happens just as much as high quality/high res.
Runs smooth as silk on the other computers in the house though, so I usually play it on them if I can. At least then I know that I can work on my own difficulties instead of being saddled with a handicap.
... Anyhow, enough of my complaining. Just introducing myself and saying a cheery hello the other FFR players. Hello!
