bah. leave him be. he make a mistake in what he said, but yes, it's just two arrows from each side. you CAN assign two keys to an arrow, but who wants their life to be that complicated? :P The setup described in that thread is quite useful. I tried it, but can't tear myself away from the one-handed style of play to learn it. But I know a lot of people DO use it.

I don't see them revoking Rubix's pass of vrofl for using QUADRUPLE setup. If it is against the rules, its not very enforced. They can't prove if you use double setup or not either, they don't have little cameras mounted in everyone who plays FFR's house to see if they double setup. I even admit using double setup to FC AIM Anthem. Hell, it was even recommended to me by a mod.

P.S. The first 3 posts weren't by mods, so what do they know? Devonin's post didn't say it was cheating, he just stated how the game is 'supposed' to be played. I think its alright if you alternate instead of doing it for mash sake.

Yeah, I'm not even sure if double setup is really considered against the rules now that avgmisses have been fixed. Just look at some of the FCs for Crowdpleaser and the top score/two scores on vrofl. They've been like that for awhile and no one cares about it.

                        Re: button question

Rubix posted in the thread with his vrofl video exactly what he used. Double setup with quadholding. He said that his score wasn't legitimate by FFR standards, and that's fine, since the song is a joke, and not intended to be seriously played anyway.

I'm also pretty positive he had far and away the best score on it than anyone else, so it only even starts to become an issue if someone else beats his old "best" score and wants to complain that they should be rank 1.

I don't see how the avmiss fix has any effect whatsoever on FFR's opinion of the legitimacy of double setup.

FACT-double setup is cheating, but its not as serious as and is less provable than hacking, so there's 99.5% of the time, it's unnoticed and there's no punishment. Look at me, I just admitted that I used double setup on AIM Anthem and I'm not in trouble.
