    New here with questions

Well i was put on to this website because some of my freinds said it was fun to play on my spare time when i was board and stuff, well here are my questions..........

    1. When do you think it is perfect to plan for your first tourney and how should you approach it.

    2. What are AAA's and Fc's because i here those everywhere and also what is rofl

    3. How do you bring up your FFR overall rank and average rank.......

    4. What are some good Begginers songs under 2 minutes and what genres .

It would be helpfull if you could answer these

    Re: New here with questions

    1. When you feel like you can handle the responsibility of hosting a tourney.

    2. AAA, or PFC, is all perfects, no goods, no averages, misses, or boos in a song. It is the highest attainable score possible for a song. FC is full combo, which is simply when you hit all the notes in a song without getting any misses.

    3. Get better.

    4. Super Mario Remix: Arcade
    Free Space: Dance
    Note to self Finish.

10k credits is probably only enough to get you a few people, or to make a newbie tournament, which doesn't normally end well. Some tourneys offer up to 100k as a prize, so your tournament would not get many signups.

How you run a tourney is up to you, but a general tip is to stay organized, and take notes on paper or in your first post about who is out, who is left, what scores they have, etc.

72k for a tourney is more than enough. That should suffice. As for saying it's your first tourney... I guess you could, but it might give people the impression that you don't know what you are doing. I wouldn't mention anything about it.

I'm convinced you will do just fine. I'll most likely sign up for your tourney, as I am a bit low on credits.

                    Re: New here with questions

since you PMed me about this as well as making an identical thread....

                    1. within the tournaments subforum, there is a sticky on what makes a good tournament. i'd read that and follow it. after that, i'd say that you want to know the songs and difficulties fairly well, so you can accurately pick songs for different skill levels. really, it's a judgment call until you feel you're knowledgeable... but running a tournament does take knowledge about FFR, takes clout within the community, and takes being active. as Gamer mentioned, having a large prize pool helps too. Basically, i'd say you still need to wait. Learn more about the game and our community, establish yourself, then make a tournament.

                    2. FFR Picture Dictionary: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=37697 has information about all kinds of acronyms.

                    3. you improve your overall rank by playing. you improve your average rank by doing well on songs, better than your previous best.

                    4. the difficulties thread: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ad.php?t=34509 has every song in the game ranked according to difficulty as well as where it is located. check that out for some choices.

basically... read the stickies. they contain a ton of helpful information and will answer most questions you have.
                    RIP
