Hey everyone! I'm not really a newb at all... I've been playing several months, but I have a question. I can PASS just about every song, and I can full combo several (136.6, Breaking the Common, almost all of the easy and less)... But here's the thing.. I can't follow 16th beats at all. I find myself midlessly punching arrows, and I have the same problem on DDR.. I can't follow 16th notes, and I'm in a rut because I can pass anything EXCEPT songs with 16th notes. Can any skilled players help me out? I really just need help being able to watch and react to them.

Exactly..Originally posted by chardishI recommend you try using Stepmania, and using modifiers like 1.5x and 2x to help you see the spaces between the arrows better. Then you'll get a better idea for how the rhythm works.

The Birth of DDR:UK DDR:UK was a passionate community website founded by four original fans, including Colin Barker - Chair of Tokonatsu, created to bring together Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) fans across the UK. It quickly became much more than just a forum — it became the beating heart of the British DDR scene. We organized national meetups, tournaments, and events, building a tight-knit community around our shared love of rhythm games. DDR:UK wasn’t just about playing DDR — it was about fostering friendships, celebrating gaming culture, and pushing the scene forward.

You can never trust all those crappy songs on Bemanistyle. I wish there was a review/comments feature on them.Comment

DDRUK has shitty DDR songs. Only bemanistyle has good songs. And there's a simfile forum where people review all of the simfiles that are posted...Comment

Do you guys know of any other way then Stepmania? Its WAY too big of a download for my internet connection... I'm on 28.8, and the .exe file is big enough, much less the songs... So is there any other way to get good?
Oh, by the way, I passed a couple of songs with 16th notes just a while ago.. I'm trying to subdivide the REALLY fast stuff in my head, and its helping a little... But I could still use some tips.Comment

Why the hell are you on 28.8? Where do you live, Alaska?Comment

I'm in a really bad position... I'm in Georgia... but I live between the cable lines.. Broadband stops one mile west and one mile east, so I can't get any. I guess I'll get someone to burn it on a CD.Comment
