trying to play basket ball with 1 hand...you're severely handicapped.

Not totally good example, I actually play 50-70% better when I play basketball one handed. And one handed isn't totally as awful as people make it out to be. But if you ever really do want to become amazing at FFR then play spread.

WSAD and Up Down Left Right would be considered double set-up, which is against the rules. However, AD Up Down is perfectly fine.

I would suggest playing one handed if you're used to it (like me) but practice spread too it'll bring you places that one hand alone cannot

I practiced one-hand for a long time, and it really isn't very good for any songs past maybe difficult :/ Then one day I got bored and tried Spread or whatever and passed Flight of the Bumblebee for the first time xD

Most hotkeys i see are askl but really doesn't matter.
I play both one hand and spread now but ive been doing spread alot more

With the desktop i do the a,s,k,l hotkeys but with the laptop i do numlock u,k and up, right

Spread is actually when you hot-key your keys to something like "a,s,l,;" and use index and middle. This is believed to be the superior playing style. Four Fingered is where you play with your index and middle both hands

We don't always use hotkeys. We could use just the regular arrows for all you know. I personally use <v numpad 6 numpad 8, and that's still considered spread.
