Question about being a "member"

As you can see, on my forum thing it says I have been a member since... June 2005 I think. However, I first started playing FFR on September 2004. When it says "Member since..." is the system glitching, or am I declared a "member" when I get the requisite number of posts?

EDIT: I meant "Join Date". Not "Member since..."

It starts counting the day of your first post, not when you first played the game. I'd have an extra couple months on this account if it was the latter.

What are the odds that it was a full year before I started posting? Because I thought I joined in April, but I thought I joined earlier than 3 years ago.

Thats retarded, it should be from the original join date. Which is why mine says Nov 2003 -_-.
