when you're doing fast trills, do your thumbs hug up on your index fingers, like off to the side of your index knuckle? sometimes i do that and its weird

My arm and two spare fingers tend to tense when I trill, slow or fast.

my fingers only really get tense anymore on really hard songs like vertex gamma and amber shores.

I switch to index if it's left-handed or right-handed. Otherwise, I stick to spread trilling.
