Whenever I put Simfiles on here, I never zip them, I leave them like they are, easier to use.
How? FFR doesn't (shouldn't) accept files that aren't in either a .zip or a .smzip. So, you must be doing SOMETHING to you files to get them on the database.
Why am I posting on FFR? I've been here for more than three years and I only have 150+ posts. That's sad. Sorry, just a personal side note.
Get Stepmania
Start it up
Find edit songs/steps I believe on main screen
Use 1,2,3,4 number keys to place steps
Make sure to use some kind of BPM finding program for correct beat
That's it basically. @ others: Read the question jeez.

I'm confused now. This person went from not knowing where and/or what stepmania is, to designing Stepmania 4 and lvl 4 admin? Um...

That creates a simfile / stepfile / level / whatever you want to call it. If you want to upload the file to FFR, that is a different question entirely. Is that what you're asking? If so, this page might help (it's hard for somebody who doesn't use a Mac to tell you exactly what to do so that's all I have right now).
Well you 1st gotta download the right Stepmania for you.. Like if you have a mac/vista/etc. just get the right one.. And to step the song you want you gotta have an Mp3 of the sond and put it in Stepmania( rather difficult to explain) and you open SM and just look for the song edit thingy and figure out the arrows/ and etc.
