Because the "FAQ's and answers" thread is too heavy loaded with posts, I decided to make my own little thread:

1. Is there a way to download the songs you play, so you can get them on your mp3 player?

2. Where can i find the token songs?

3. what is level 12, 13, 14, 15 and so on, called? I've only seen guru level 11...

4. When I'm too quick to pick a song, it freezes, why?

5. can you unload a song in multiplayer, when your opponent has downloaded an other song than your own?

6. If I can download the songs, how can I "step" them by myself?

1. There is no real way to do it but you could go here and search for a song. This will give you an SM file which you must unzip. You can use these to play StepMania or you can just take the Mp3 file out of the song.

2. This should explain everything and the locations/info can be found here and here

3. Guru is the highest difficulty. If you find them easy stop mashing

4. Clear your cache and use Internet Explorer or Firefox with the flash update. This should fix it or it could be something more complicated.

5. Unsure...I don't play MP...as far as I know you can't or try loading another song

fido... your response to #1 is poor poor poor. if nothing else, we respect copyrights and the musicians we feature on our site. as such, while you CAN get some mp3s via the simfile database, we don't condone that as a means for mp3 acquisition. instead, each song has an information page, found via this page: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...s/FFRSongs.php. In there, click on the song name and you'll open the information page. On those pages, if you click on the artist's name, it'll take you to their website. On their website, there should be ways to acquire the songs, either via free download, or through a small fee. support the artists.

1. No.
2. You must fin them on your own and go to the links fido123 provided you with.
3. There is a level 13 and it is called "godly", the only song in that category is Vertex BETA vRofl.
4. This is a standard bug.
5. I don't think so, when I have to unload the song, I reload the page.
6. Go with the links fido123 provided.

Thanks for your quick replys. I'm very thankful for that.

The reason for the token question was that I wanted to play Vertex BETA vRofl - because I saw jimerax play it on YouTube... just to see how insane it feels to play it.... lol.. I started in the middle of november... can pass "for FFR" on 1.25x speed now...

Vertex BETA vRofl is a Token that can only be gotten via placing in the top8 of an official tournament. It was originally released as a joke file on April 1st, 2007... and since then has been given out to ~60 or so people in the 2 official tournaments since.

A joke file? It also looks like a joke... as far I've heard, it should only be MrRubix that has passed it, is that correct?

Further, is it allowed to restep the song, if you've downloaded the simfile, and put it into stepmania, if not FFR itself? (I know, I'm too lazy to read the rules...)

I've tried to download Stepmania once, but it was empty for songs... why?
