    New to forum

Hey everyone, i've been a member here now for... 0.82 years now, apparently. I never really took the opportunity to meet other members here, just played the game in my spare time and got better at it. Now currenty playing C/VD level songs and currently ranked 16010, i'd like to think i'm doing an adequate job to warrant an introduction.

Main purpose of me coming here is to see what i can do to make myself a better player, 'cause i'm not getting any better since i may be nearing my FFR-skill threshold. I really don't know much about this game other than what i've taught myself, so i hope to learn anything that will make me better.

Thanks to anyone taking time out of there day to lend this nooblet their ears.

    To get better I suggest:
    Playing Spread with Left,Right,8,6 (NumPad)
    Try the Speed Mods
Try Screen Shrinking (Putting the screen so you don't see the bottom of the game)
    Practice a lot

Also, welcome to the forums and, is 16010 your Overall rank or Average rank?

I know about the speed mod, i currently use 1.5x
How does using the mix of arrow key and num pad help? And how does screen shrinking help? Not doubting your advice, just requesting an explanation.

Oh yes, and 16,010 is my overall FFR rank.

Before I talk to you about the spread I would like to know what fingers and on which hand you use to play the game. Screenshrinking helps because you get more concentration on the really near arrows. I personally don't use it because with 1.25x already helps me enough but if you want you can use it. Also, people put more interest on the average rank as the Overall Rank only shows if you're playing alot or not. Average is the average of your rank on every songs, this really means something.

Using the numpad (6 substituting for the right arrow and 8 for the up arrow) is a lot easier because that way, your fingers aren't so.. clumped together. It tends to mess you up. Using the numpad may feel just a ~little~ weird at first, but you'll get used to it. Try it, you'll get better.
