Download, then just take the MP3 out of the folder.

I don't know about the other songs.

For the others just click on the artists on this page and download the songs from the websites.

guys... promoting the use of simfiles as a way to get mp3s is not cool.

if you want mp3s, check out the artist's websites. the page that blu linked to has a URL for every single artist in FFR (just about)... many of which allow for the free downloading of their music. support the artists, check their sites. don't use simfiles as a backdoor into copyright infringement.

heaven forbid you like a song and want to support the musician... pay a buck for the mp3.

Re: How to download ffr music.

The world has come to a point where people just think "I like this song, so I'm going to download it". Many people don't even realize that the artists are loosing money from people who would otherwise buy their cd, or pay to download their songs. I once tried actually paying for a song download service... bearshare. I was paying 8 dollars a month for no selection, and my files were in a strange format that I couldn't change due to them being protected.

I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather buy a CD than get a single song download anyday.

Re: How to download ffr music.

bearshare is not the right way to go about it... if you're going to go the monthy route for something like that, napster or rhapsody would be your best bets. but, the bands see practically nothing from those services compared to the labels... if you want to support your favorite artists, buying and downloading the tracks are the way to go. sure, CDs are great and work too, but many bands aren't at the points in their careers where they have CDs to sell, as it's much more expensive to do compared to digital formats.

I could continue on in a long diatribe or essay, but I'll stop for now. In the scheme of things, paying $1 for a single you really like isn't much at all. but if 10,000 other people do the same thing, you're really helping out that band that you and everyone else like.

Real: I spend almost $2000 annualy on Anime OSTs alone and I'm proud of it.

                          Other: Can't afford it. T_T
