I just went to play a song called Crowdpleaser and I was doing pretty well with my combo until like at around the middle there were these arrows all very VERY close to each other (and like LOTS of them too) and I was just... WTF!? Is it even possible for people to hit those or is it just me? o.o I tried playing again and holding down on my keyboard but it didn't work. DAMN! O_O

It's possible, just because we can't do it doesn't mean it's not. Check the top scores and see who's FC'd it so far.

I think Ravia proved that it is but it's just inanely hard and you have to hit arrows early to get an average so you can get a late average on the other ones.

I think it's possible to FC, but with a special kind of keyboard.. I always forget what kind, but I'm pretty sure it's like made out of some kind of rubber material.. xD

They did the math on one thread where some guy had claimed to have FC'd it. ( he was flamed to death )

I think they came to the conclusion that it's possible. . . if you can jack at some insane speed that's inhumanly possible. I don't even think your keyboard would have time to register because your fingers would be going too fast. So yea, you'd definately need that special keyboard.

it's unfcable because the ffr engine won't register it that close, maybe with a super keyboard on stepmania with a super computer or whatever, but definitely not on ffr, try on sm

Well I mean the math involved is pretty simple. If you were to FC it it would require you go to into the megatrill hitting Averages and maintaining this until you were able to sail through the one-framers which REQUIRE average-hits to be comboed, and then you will likely start losing consistency and getting Goods, which are musts for the two-framers. Basically you only have two frames of freedom to pull off the whole trill at an insane speed with a small spike of even higher speed due to the one-framers, and it's just insanely hard to do. I've tried that trill at least a few hundred times and I can't FC the sucker. I can get it down to 2 misses but other than that it looks pretty hopeless. Double-setup seems to be the only way to FC the trill.
