how to play index

im a spread player and have been for several years. people tell me that if you combine the two you can become a better player. i want to see how. so whats the method of playing index? is it a similar concept to the spread in which the left hand or index takes the left and down arrow and the right hand the up and right arrow? this example is for those with this default configuration. cr flip foam told me that i can be better if i learn the two.

There are different styles,
1. both index on number pad/arrow pad
2. both index spread
3. one index all keys

Use your index fingers lol. Well, try not to use one finger in a row, it helps. Unless you have to, just practice.

basically, you use your two index fingers and play as if you're playing ddr

staircases and running men are much easier index, so those are the sections that you'll want to switch from spread

just play cia rave a bunch of times with those two fingers, you'll see where each one is supposed to go
