This there any way to configure the thing so that I can do split with the arrows and the num pad like I do with FFR?

Yes, On the Original FFR there is setting where you can change options of the speed style you want for the song.

plmokn238: First, we call it spread, not split. There is a way of remapping the keys for the original. There isn't any program to remap in FFR Resonance though.
