I was introduced by a mate to this place in '05.
I'm a pure-bred DDR player, straight from 3rd mix onward.

I seem to play at your 'very difficult' level after having not played for a few months on DDR, and a year (at least) on stepmania.
So yeah. Hi to the newbie, everyone, and a quick question:

Is it worth playing the beginner ones?
Are there unlockables in them or something?

Welcome to the forums. Beginner songs are worth playing if you're seeking AAAs or Tier Points from getting a bunch of AAAs. Yes, there are beginner songs you must do well on to unlock other songs.

From playing easier songs you can increase your average rank (i.e. get it lower).

You can unlock skill tokens as well.
