well it is in the sense that you lv up. first shooter? I'll assume you mean 1st person but actually its 3rd person. Tell me if my assumption is wrong and you meant something else.

Actually, GunZ isn't a MMORPG at all, it's a First Shooter but it's still very good. My friend plays it alot.

Sounds cool, I'll check it out anyway. But first I need to address the subject of.... SILKROAD. If you are a Silk lover then turn away. Now.

Okay, let me tell you about it in a nutshell: It sucks. Oh, God, it sucks. But you're probobly wondering how and why. So I'll give you a rundown of the game.
Let's start with graphics, and let me tell you, at first glance they look pretty decent. Nothing mind-blowing, but pretty to look at. There is one problem though: I can't change the farking view. I tried WSAD, numpad, even pressing random buttons, but nothing seems to work. When I have to scour through a list of key mappings, that just ruins the game for me, and I don't even know if there is a mapping list anywhere!
Whatever, let's move on to controls. Balls. Absolute.... balls.
I'm truly sorry, but I just have to speak my mind. Free speech, ya know.
Anyway, you've got your classic arrow key movement, with all the regular shortcuts, such as [I] opening inventory, etc, but there again is one problem: reaction times. It can three seconds or more for movement keystrokes to process, and that is not good when fighting high-level monsters that you are trying to run from. And sometimes, it just doesn't let me move at all. Later I found out that I needed to download the graphics driver, which should have improved the controls, but I get this error message every time I try to boot it up. This is not a bullshot (edited in any way), this is real.
Dead freaking serious. Clicking on the left.... question mark.... button.... thing
does squat, and when I was going to try the right button, my system crashed. So, screw that I guess.
I'm sorry if I've offended anyone so far, but I'm still not done.
The number one most obvious flaw in this game is the simple lack of knowledge of the English language. I don't even want to comment about it, it's just.... try it out and you'll see. This is not like Zero Wing, it's just humiliating.
Okay, I think that's it. I'll try out the first-person shooter thing, but just... STAY AWAY from this Silkroad thing. It will bring you nothing but pain. I'm sorry if I've made anybody frustrated or angry at me.
