How do I improve my accuracy?

Yeah whenever I try to press a key I mess up either hit the wrong key or poke at the plastic casing on my keyboard, what can I do to fix this???

What I'm really wondering is how to improve my note accuracy, I am fairly good at FFR (I can do streams of yellow notes without missing many if I practice the song a couple times) But when I try to AAA songs, I always get a bunch of goods, even on easy songs, like Stay With me :P, so how can I improve?

i've been playing for 2 and a half years and i only have a handful of AAA's. practice makes perfect.

Try turning up the volume and paying close attention to the beats.

Make sure you're not using a wireless keyboard.

PLay stepmania.Pratice on judge 7 or 6 for about 2 weeks.=Godly PA.

"Yellow arrows" Thease are 16th notes.Saying yellow makes you sound noobish.

try playing at a higher speed mod like 1.25 or 1.5

also, since many of the early easy songs aren't synced very well (i.e. the arrows aren't exactly on the beat some of the time), try the newer easier songs such as Free Space, and the new user skill tokens (all of them after Eien Maikyu) and see if you still get as many goods.
Focus really hard on the beat, maybe tap it with your feet.
Speed mods are incredibly helpful, they seem like they would make it harder but try at least x1.25, it should help.

Set it so, when you're trying to get an AAA, if you get 1 Good, 1 Average, 1 Boo, and/or 1 miss you will fail, that's how I got 10 Excite Bike AAA's in a row.

Wired is better in most cases, but my wireless keyboard at my dad's work is way more accurate than all my wired keyboards at home... At home I get VERY many random goods.... I wonder if thats just my computer? If it is my BRAND NEW computer then I'm gonna be pissed at somebody... *looks in the phonebook to start calling Gateway*
