I was playing with my friend in multiplayer and i was typing something and i think i clicked something wrong because a little bar came up on the dance screen that said Secret Code: and had a typing bar under it that didn't let me type anything what is that all about?

Um...because it's defunct and useless, so asking about it is a waste of time? Somehow I don't see how "It used to do something one time and now it doesn't" isn't enough explanation for you, especially given the "and now it doesn't" part.

There isn't a Secret Code Box. It's just a glitch that your may get occasionally.
