you might not be waiting long enough after clearing a song for your score to register. make sure you can see the % of the record holder and your ranks before moving on.

That or you aren't making enough points. I'd assume you are.

Try refreshing the page once in a while. Sometimes FFR goes offline and the game still runs but it's no longer connected.

tried again, but my credit's still not going up. i keep on getting "credits earned" after songs but my total credits still stagnate for some reason.

wait till u get ur rank (not 0) when u finish a song or you can try to refresh ur browser? and if u see, at the top right corner of ffr, the word Updating! you should be ok. If all this doesnt work, make another acount and send these credz on it by going in FFR shop in the game window.

I would say try playing the game in a different browser. If it works then play it in that one.
