I've been able to get by with using just 3 fingers on one hand... I can beat levels as fast as breaking the common, but if I want to take on levels such as caprice or chrono trigger etc. my fingers wont move fast enough, as I'm sure no one elses will. So what fingers do you put with what hands on the keys?

my fingering is kinda weird...
i use two hands
Left hand: i use left index for left
right hand: middle is up, index is down, ring is right

some people play with two hands, using two indexes

i know there's a 2 handed style using two fingers from each hand, but alas i dont know it

My style is just one hand, all fingers...

I use both one hand and two hands style.

One hand style (right hand)
- Left: right index
- Right: right ring
- Up, Down: right middle

Two hands style
- Left: left middle
- Down: left index
- 8(Up): right index
- 6(Right): right middle
basically like this, and sometimes use up, right, 2, 4keys and other fingers.

I've managed to use around 10 different hand positionings in one song (Chrono Trigger) and still pass with a 90ish combo.

One hand: index left, middle up/down, ring right.
One hand: ^Same but flat (so the middle is on both up and down at once)
One hand: index finger on left and down, middle on right and up.
Two hands: Lmiddle - left, Lindex - down, Rring right, Rmiddle up.
Two hands: Lmiddle - left, Lindex - down, Rindex up, Rmiddle right.
Two hands: Lindex left/down, Rindex right/up
Two hands: Lmiddle left, Lindex down, Rmiddle right/up

More I can't really remember. I'll use any of these, but usually the first or fourth.

On anything difficult I play the same 2 hand style that jimerax posted.
When I'm practicing DDR songs on keyboard I play with just my 2 index fingers.

Index - Left arrow
Middle - Up and Down arrows
Ring - Right arrow

mine's just left-right index, up-right middle, down-right middle, and right- right ring. and my hands DO go that fast. fun fun fun for everyone, that way.

Here is the 2-Hand Crossthrough technique:
Angle the keyboard so that the the left side is diagionally up and the right side is diagonally down.

Left Middle____________Left Index

__________Right Index_________


Keep your left hand low and your right hand over it.

(Your right hand can rest right over the 10 key.)

No, he uses a bot. I challenged him to a level and he was like, k one sec (on ffr chat) And he never did it, so he is obviously using a bot or slowing down the arrows.

MANY people can do good on those levels with one hand. I'm not even very good with one hand and I can pwnd them with one hand.
