You mean profile chat? Just go into somebodies ffr profile and you should be connected automatically.
Oh, and welcome to FFR, before you start playing/posting you should probably lurk around the forums for a bit and try to gather some useful information before asking questions.

Check the user CP and make sure you have the profile chat enabled.
