Ok I'm not entirely a noob here but i knew i would get flamed for asking this in any other forum. I have gotten loads of songs with no misses and no boo why does it only say I have like 96% of the record holder?

because to get a new record you need to AAA the song, which means to get all perfects

Basically a AAA or passing a song with all perfect is 100%
So if you have no boos or misses, you might still have a bunch of goods and averages which gives you a lower score thus getting 96% and not 100%

You need to AAA the song to get 100%. Depending on the song a AAA is all perfects or perfects and maybe 1 or 2 goods but no averages. Either way 96% isn't bad at all keep it up!Check out my stuff <a href="http://www.soundclick.com/vcruptura/">www.soundclick.com/vcruptura</a>Comment

Yes, the record holder has AAA'd the song (which is getting all perfects on the song). If you know the point system (Perfects are 550 points each, Goods are 275 points each, Averages are 55 points each, Misses are -310 points each, and Boos are -20 points each) then you can kind of see how you'd only get 93% of recorder holders score. You probably got some Goods and maybe a couple Averages which would leave you with a score that would be about 93% of a AAA or the recorder holder.Comment

on longer songs, you can get a SDG and get a 100%, usually if u can get under 5 goods, 0 avs, boos, misses... it'll say 100% because you're so close =D
