I'm making a video game song that I'm propably going to submit to FFR-- the song is in a game made by RARE. Do I need permission from the song creator in order to submit it or does it count with someone whos songs are publicized on such large scales?

Unless it's a remix then FFR need permission from RARE (I guess?) to put it in the game. I'm not sure what happened with the permissions for that Chronotrigger music...
