Different Types Of Playing Styles?

I'm just getting a little bit confused with all of the terms in regards to playstyle.
I've heard the terms: one handed, two handed, spread, and index.
What are the differences between all of these terms? By the way, I'm sure that I can guess one handed and two handed.
