Question about spread?

Hey guys

I play 1 handed (Right hand 3 fingers) and can do any song. But my max scores cap at about 1.3m points and 800 combos with no AAAs so far. So obviously i need to switch to 2 handed or "spread" as people tend to refer to it as.

My question is: Which fingers should be allocated to which keys when playing two handed?

From Wikipedia's StepMania article: "Spread: Players press keys with the index and middle fingers of both hands. Unlike index, the arm and wrist do not need to move, as one specific finger is assigned to one specific key. Players change the key configuration of Stepmania to have a more comfortable "spread pattern", to keys such as d-f-j-k, a-s-k-l, and q-w-o-p instead of the arrow keys."

I personally like to do it this way

Left: A, left middle finger

Down: X, left index finger

Up: M, right index finger

Right: L, right middle finger
