Well, I 'cleared my cache' and the songs still say "not avaliable". Could someone tell me exactly what to do from the moment the game loads up. How to select a genre and everything....I've never played and I am so confused!!!

Sounds like you already cleared it... maybe clear the offline content to (Think there's a button for it there).
This has been brought up before, only solution I say was:
Could be a firewall, don't know why that would block the data packet but not the game itself... That or the game hates you. Might want to PM synth with the following info: Processor (ei: Dell, dimension 4800), harddrive space (ei: 120gb), ram (ei: 512mb DDR ram), speed (ei: 2.7ghz), operating system (ei: windows XP)... Video card (ei: geoforce 2, I think...), Audio card (ei: Turtle beach? maybe I have that one and the last messed up, meh), Internet browser (ei: IE, mozilla firebird) and such... I doubt half of that is required, but be sure to get most of it or he won't answer until you find out =p.Try the following, in this order.
*Empty your cache
*See if cookies are enabled. If they're not (or they're blocked by a firewall), amend this.
*reload the entire engine.
