I don't really know either but I'm going to guess that it's just annoying and noobish. Plus why don't you just say everyting you want to say in one post? Why split it into two?

Well, I was thinking, maybe you forgot to add something. But that's what the edit button is for. So maybe saying something that doesn't have to do with the last post would be at least somewhat acceptable?

No. Double posting is a rule because it promotes uncivilized posts and takes up post count as in X many posts per page.
