I need help understanding why the whole "half screen" thing is the way to go. Cause I got to rank 919 w/o it and now there is speed mods. I just want an explanation of how it helps, b/c whenever I try the half screen I do waaaaaa(x199)y worse.

When you play with less than the full screen (i.e. screen cutting) you trick yourself into thinking the arrows are moving faster because you have less time to react.
You've used speed mods so you are not used to screen cutting anymore.

how does that help, and can't speedmods fix that now? And also, even w/ speed mod 1.25x I still find it harder (like the cut screen).... but yet in ddr speed mods are a must... explain.....please
