I got this out of the " How To Get Accepted Into The FFR Community" thread.

If this is a supposed rule, then why isn't there something/someone to inforce it? I realize that it's nearly impossible to inforce it on everyone, but why isn't there a filter, like there is for the profanity?

Probably a newbish question, but it was just a wonder. :3

Because it's not really a rule, just a way to gain more respect from the FFR community.

        Thanks ^_^

Well, that is true. :/ Wish there was a way to make it a rule though. Alot of people would benefit from it I think. Learning proper grammar and such is a good thing for when you get to college/real career tracks, and you have to write reports/presentations/papers, etc.

        Just my opinion though.

Some people are just too damn lazy and probably aren't willing to change it. I mean, if they want to fail so badly at the language they speak, then so be it. It's none of our concern whether they fail at life or not.

I think Nyokou just summed it up very well.

Can you really make a filter that can translate IM speak?

Think about how people use capitals, numbers and symbols either to replace a letter, word or syllable. Wait! And with the millions of combinations of ways to use those...

I will feel sorry for that poor filter.
